We offer two forms of rentals.
Inclusive rentals
This type of booking includes Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). Your rental then has an excess which ranges from 1500 - 2500 EUR which must be pre-authorised (frozen) on the main drivers credit card. You can purchase our additional coverage at the desk which will then reduce this excess to zero.
If you have purchased a third party refund excess policy, please be aware this does not reduce your excess to zero. It simply protects it. If there are damages during your rental, we will charge the excess pending a repair estimate. Once the damage charges are finalised, you can then claim these charges back from the company you purchased the refund excess policy from. The claim back process is between the third party company and the customer.
Exclusive rentals
We accept American/Canadian MasterCard or Visa to waive collision damage waiver. When creating your booking online, please select "I want to waive CDW".
In order to waive CDW the below terms must be adhered to;
1. The MasterCard/Visa must be in the main drivers name.
2. A letter of coverage* must be obtained from the credit card company and presented on arrival. This letter must state the customer's full name and that they are covered in the Republic of Ireland. *Without this letter, we cannot release the car to you unless our local coverages are applied to the booking.
3. 5,000 EUR must be pre-authorised on said credit card.
